About PeptaLux & Research Use
What is PeptaLux, and what do you sell?
PeptaLux is a Wyoming-based supplier of research-grade peptides and related research compounds, sold under a strict Research Use Only (RUO) framework. Our catalog serves independent researchers, academic laboratories, and biotech R&D teams who require reliable, COA-documented compounds for in vitro laboratory work.
What does “Research Use Only” (RUO) mean?
Research Use Only refers to a regulatory framework recognized under 21 CFR § 809.10(c)(2)(i) for products supplied to qualified researchers strictly for in vitro laboratory investigation. PeptaLux products are not drugs, dietary supplements, food, cosmetics, or medical devices; they are not FDA-approved; and they are not intended for human or veterinary consumption or any in vivo use. Full details are set out in our Research Use Notice and Terms and Conditions.
Are these products approved for human or veterinary use?
No. PeptaLux products are research compounds supplied exclusively for in vitro laboratory research. They have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy in any human or animal application, and any use outside a qualified laboratory setting is strictly prohibited under our Terms of Sale.
Do I need to be a researcher to purchase?
Yes. Every order requires acceptance of our research-use gate, which includes age verification (21+) and a qualified-researcher attestation. By placing an order, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher, scientist, or research-affiliated professional with the training and facilities necessary to handle research compounds safely and lawfully.
Orders, Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
No. PeptaLux ships exclusively within the United States. We do not accept orders placed for international addresses, freight forwarders, package-consolidation services, or U.S.-based addresses that re-ship to international destinations. Orders identified as attempting to circumvent this policy may be canceled and refunded at our discretion.
Where do you ship from?
All orders ship from within the United States. We ship only to U.S. destinations and do not ship internationally.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping is estimated at 3–5 business days; priority shipping at 1–2 business days. Orders typically process within one business day of payment clearance. Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Please see our Shipping Policy for full terms.
Is there free shipping?
Qualifying research orders receive free shipping above our published order threshold. The current threshold and any applicable conditions are shown at checkout and on our Shipping Policy page.
How are peptides packaged to maintain integrity?
Orders ship in insulated packaging with gel packs intended to maintain a cold-chain environment in transit, and temperature indicators are included so you can assess cold-chain integrity on arrival. If your shipment arrives in a condition that suggests a temperature excursion, contact support@peptalux.com within 72 hours of delivery so we can assist.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. Shipments arrive in plain outer packaging with no exterior markings indicating the contents. The return address shown on the label is our U.S. fulfillment address.
Certificates of Analysis & Product Quality
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A Certificate of Analysis is a report — issued by an independent laboratory — documenting a compound’s identity, purity by HPLC, and, where applicable, mass-spectrometry verification, endotoxin testing, batch number, and test date. A COA allows you to verify the contents of a vial before it enters your workflow.
Are all products COA-verified?
Most are. A limited number of SKUs may be awaiting a current-batch COA; these are clearly marked on the relevant product page. You can review available COAs in our COA Library. If a compound you need is awaiting a COA and you’d like to know when one is expected, email support@peptalux.com.
What purity can I expect?
Our target standard is ≥99% purity by HPLC. The verified purity figure for any individual batch is stated on that batch’s Certificate of Analysis, which governs over any general figure stated on the site.
Are products third-party tested?
Yes. Testing is performed by independent third-party laboratories rather than in-house. Each COA identifies the testing methodology and the date of analysis.
