Description
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide derived from a partial sequence of human gastric juice protein BPC. In vitro and rat-model research literature has characterized its interaction with nitric oxide synthase activity and growth hormone receptor signaling pathways (Sikiric et al., J. Physiol. Pharmacol., 2003). Additional rat-model investigations have examined its association with VEGFR2 expression and angiogenic signaling pathways relevant to extracellular-matrix biology and tissue-repair processes (Hsieh et al., J. Mol. Med., 2017). Findings in in vitro / animal studies do not necessarily translate to other systems.
