Description
Modified GRF(1-29), commonly referred to as CJC-1295 without DAC, is a tetrasubstituted analog of human GHRH(1-29) with D-Ala²/Gln⁸/Ala¹⁵/Leu²⁷ substitutions that confer resistance to dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) and trypsin-like proteolysis. In vitro and rodent-model research literature has characterized its interaction with the GHRH receptor and downstream cAMP/PKA signaling pathways in pituitary somatotrophs (Jetté et al., Endocrinology, 2005). Rat-model pituitary investigations have examined its association with pulsatile growth hormone secretion patterns (Alba et al., Endocrinology, 2006).Findings in in vitro / animal studies do not necessarily translate to other systems.
