CJC-1295 with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a tetrasubstituted GHRH(1-29) analog bearing a maleimidopropionyl-lysine moiety at position 30 that forms a covalent thioether bond with circulating serum albumin Cys34, extending the molecule's plasma half-life. In vitro and rodent-model research literature has characterized its interaction with the GHRH receptor and the bioconjugation kinetics with serum albumin in murine and primate plasma (Teichman et al., J. Clin. Endocrinol. Metab., 2006). Rodent-model investigations have examined its association with sustained GHRHR-mediated cAMP signaling pathway activation (Jetté et al., Endocrinology, 2005). Findings in in vitro / animal studies do not necessarily translate to other systems.
CJC-1295 with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) is a modified GHRH analog with an extended half-life due to the DAC moiety.
